Ian Fleming International Airport is in Boscobel, about 15 kilometres east of Ocho Rios. It serves the north-coast area, including Oracabessa and Port Maria. Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston are outside St. Mary. They serve broader air-service networks, but your road distance will depend on the town you are travelling to and current road conditions.

The North Coast Highway links coastal communities around Port Maria, Oracabessa and Boscobel with Ocho Rios and Portland. Interior and southern trips use corridors including Junction Road, Broadgate to Agualta Vale, and Highgate to Guys Hill to Rio Nuevo.
