Main roads

Highway 2000, including the Edward Seaga Highway, gives St. Andrew travellers a toll-road connection towards Ocho Rios and the north coast. Traffic, road works and temporary restrictions can change travel times.
Before you travel
Carry Jamaican dollars for buses and route taxis. JUTC supports SmartFare cards, and card and cash fares may differ by programme and date. Confirm the fare, final stop and payment method before departure, especially for private transfers and car rentals. Late-night service varies by district, so check the final departure with the relevant operator.
